The latest news from Bill the Innkeeper …

January 1, 2014

Well, Christmas is over and the Quiet Time on the Cape is coming up. Granted this is going to be a great time to head North and go skiing, but it is also a great time to come to the Cape and there will be less snow and cooooold temps. Here in the Hyannis Area, most all the great restaurants are open year round and not only are crowds down, but many have special entries, umpteen course fixed-price meals with a bottle of wine around $30 a head. Other places have half price appetizers at the bar up till 6. Sounds early, but it does get dark early and if you have been out checking local shops and galleries, you are probably ready to eat and then come back to the Inn, sit around the fireplace in the common room and read a book that you brought or taken out of the Lemuel Simmons Memorial Free Library upstairs or open you Kindle and read or watch net flix and all since we have free WiFi everywhere.
