December 6 & 7 is a wonderful weekend here in Hyannis. It gets you up and ready for Christmas.

Friday night the 6th there is the 50th Annual Christmas Stroll in Osterville 5 miles from here. All sorts of specials going on and great places to eat dinner right on Main Street.

Saturday the 7th There is the Hyannis Village Christmas Stroll from 10-4 on Main Street 1/2 mile from the Inn. Then from 4-7 head down to the Harbor for the Harbor Lighting and boat parade and around 6 good ole’ Santa rows into the harbor and then walk across the Street to the Black Cat restaurant for a wonderful time and meal.
Another great choice both Saturday and Sunday is the LiveLoveLocal Festival at Barnstable High School a mile just around the corner from the Inn. There will be over 125 tables full of all sorts of stuff from just local folks and stores around here on Cape Cod.
One other choice Saturday is to catch the 9:05 ferry to Nantucket for their Christmas Stroll and Antique Auto Parade at noon. Then get the 4:35 boat back here and get into Hyannis Harbor at 5:30 to catch the Boat Parade, Harbor Lighting and see Santa heading for the dock. A full hectic day but tons of fun.

Sunday the 8th. After you sober up and wake up after a great weekend, you can think about heading home after you go the Jazz Brunch at the West End Restaurant couple blocks up Scudder Avenue. The Gourmet Brunch on Main Street in Hyannis and the Old Yarmouth Inn on 6-A are a couple of other places that will wrap up your weekend pretty darn well. And….Merry Christmas in Advance from the Inn. See Ya once again next year.
